The event aims to equip attendees with the knowledge to recognise a cardiac arrest and perform chest compressions. Participants will have the opportunity to practice on a training manikin and learn about the function and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), which can significantly aid in saving lives.
The initiative highlights the importance of CPR skills for everyone, regardless of medical experience. The training is designed to be accessible and empowering for all community members.
“"Knowing CPR could help save a life, and you don’t need any medical experience to learn these skills."
The event will take place at Queensgate Shopping Centre on Wednesday, 21 October, running from 9am until 5pm.
