The Epping Forest District Council, in partnership with Terra Verde Services Ltd (TVS), has launched a survey to gather public feedback for its new 'Clean Streets, Clear Respect' campaign.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the 'Trash Talking' survey to share their experiences with waste, recycling, and street cleaning teams. The campaign aims to foster positive relationships between residents and frontline staff, improve understanding of vital services, and promote a culture of respect. Feedback will help shape future campaign activities and reflect community views and priorities.
The survey, which takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, is open to all residents from Monday 19 October to Sunday 15 November 2026. Participants have a chance to win one of several One4All vouchers, with a maximum value of £50, in a prize draw. Full terms and conditions are available.
Councillor Jodie Lucas, Chair of TVS Ltd, highlighted the importance of resident feedback in building positive relationships and ensuring services meet community needs. Similarly, Councillor Ray Balcombe, Cabinet Member for Contracts Delivery, emphasised that the survey aims to understand residents' views on local environmental services and encourage community pride and respect, rather than review individual collections.
“

"Keeping our streets, neighbourhoods and public spaces clean is something that benefits everyone. Day in, day out, our waste, recycling and street cleaning teams are out in all weathers, helping to support the communities we’re all proud to call home."

Paper copies of the survey are available at several locations across the district, including the Civic Offices in Epping, and various leisure centres in Epping, Chigwell, Loughton, Ongar, and Waltham Abbey. Completed surveys can be returned to any of these sites.
