Partners discussed how future development can support new homes, employment opportunities, infrastructure investment, and regeneration, while creating clean, attractive, and thriving places that communities can be proud of.
The Forum provided an opportunity for the council to give updates on the Local Plan and outline the council's Civic Pride programme, emphasising the importance of creating clean, safe, attractive, and thriving places across the borough.
Cllr Tom Kelly, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, stated: “The developer forum is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining strong relationships with developers, landowners and investors, and ensuring key stakeholders are engaged in the delivery of the borough's priorities. Bringing partners together through events like this helps encourage collaboration, innovation, job creation and shared ownership of the Civic Pride agenda.”
The next Development Forum is scheduled for Tuesday 15 December.
