A notice has been issued regarding a casual vacancy in the office of parish councillor for the Lower Sheering Row ward on Sheering Parish Council. The vacancy has officially occurred, and an election to fill it will be held if a written request is received.
Such a request must be made by 10 local government electors from the Lower Sheering Ward of the Sheering Parish Council area. The request must be received by the Returning Officer of Epping Forest DC at the Civic Offices, High Street, Epping, CM16 4BZ, no later than 24 November 2026.
Should an election not be requested by the specified number of electors by the deadline, the vacancy will be filled by the parish council itself as soon as practicable after the expiry of the date mentioned.
